Domestic Violence
Domestic Violence is defined in the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 1989 as willful injury, willful damage to property, intimidation or harassment, indecent behaviour or a threat to commit any of these acts. The parties must be in a spousal, intimate personal, family or informal care relationship. This includes de facto and same sex relationships.
You can make application for a protection order in your local Magistrates Court.
We can assist you to apply for a Protection Order or to apply to revoke or vary an existing Order. We can also assist you to defend these applications.
